Meljaye Simie

Meljaye Simie is the founder of Hansim skincare, which is an organic and naturally made skincare line Founded California. She was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and moved to the United States to pursue her higher education and to reconnect with her family. Very drawn to the beauty and the fashion industry from a young age, she joined The Aveda institute to fulfill her dream of becoming a hair stylist and makeup artist in Washington, D.C. After working for a few years in the beauty industry, she continued her journey in artistry by joining the Academy of Art university in San Francisco, California, to study fashion in fine arts. After a few years in California, she decided to create her YouTube channel where she shares her beauty and fashion expertise and passion on a bigger scale. In order to help people with her professional back-ground in beauty and fashion. That is when she realized that there was a-need for clean and affordable organic products. Therefor, she decided to create a skincare line with high quality ingredients that are non-toxic. Helping people is her passion and being able to provide a service is a dream come true.
